The Bang & Olufsen brand hails from Denmark. It is a luxury audio brand, the name of which is inevitably associated with quality, innovation, and aesthetics. The company has been following these principles for almost a century, creating best-in-class audio equipment.
The brand's history is as unique as its products. Svend Olufsen and Peter Bang founded their enterprise in 1925 in the attic of the Olufsen family estate. Just a year later, the young engineers introduced the Eliminator – Denmark's first receiver operating on alternating current. Shortly after, they presented the world's first push-button-controlled receiver, the Master-39CH, followed by Europe's first reel-to-reel tape recorder, the Beocord-84U.
Today, televisions, audio systems, soundbars, speakers, and headphones bearing the Bang & Olufsen logo are known and loved worldwide. Acoustic systems are appreciated for their non-trivial design, seamlessly integrated technologies, and materials that stand the test of time. Many of the brand's products resemble stylish interior items, with around a dozen of them being part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
